Training and Capacity Development
The Training and Capacity Development Department is the core professional education and skills enhancement arm of the Centre of Advanced Forensic Analytics (CAFA). The department is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering specialized training programs in forensic science, forensic accounting, digital forensics, cyber investigations, anti-corruption strategies, artificial intelligence in investigations, financial intelligence, and justice-sector capacity strengthening.
The department works with governments, law enforcement agencies, anti-corruption bodies, financial institutions, judiciary systems, universities, and private sector organizations across Africa and internationally.
Core Mandate
- Develop and deliver professional forensic and investigative training programs
- Build institutional capacity for justice and accountability systems.
- Promote international best practices in forensic investigations and intelligence analysis.
- Support workforce development in anti-corruption, financial crime, and digital investigations.
- Provide certification and executive education programs.
- Facilitate continuous professional development (CPD) for investigators and professionals.
